Essay research workshops

Are you a GDL student embarking on your PfP2 assessment?  Do you need help getting started with your research?  Do you want to find out how to use practitioner works and find journal articles?

The Library is running a series of ’Essay Research Workshops’ in March. The workshops focus on research skills, rather than essay writing technique, although we will cover referencing.

The workshops are split into two parts: Part 1 covers finding commentary using Halsbury’s laws, practitioner works and textbooks; and Part 2 covers finding journal and newspaper articles.
