Library workshops in journal & newspaper research

In March we’ll be running library workshops giving practical help and advice in searching for journal and newspaper articles.  The sessions will cover :-

  • choosing sources  (focussing on electronic sources, but also looking at paper-based resources)
  • how to find, print and download the full text of an article for which you have a reference
  • how to find references to articles on a topic, on a particular case or on a piece of legislation
  • sample questions to give you practice in carrying out your own research

The workshops will be held at 12.15 – 1.15 pm, in IT Room 216, on the following dates :-

Friday 12th March

Wednesday 17th March

Thursday 18th March

Friday 19th March
